Outside the Line Counseling and Art Therapy is unique not only for the art therapy, but because I bring my therapy to you in your home. Our home is supposed to be our sanctuary. It is often a very clear reflection of our mental state. In order to maintain positive internal changes we need to make environmental changes to support. I can help if you're ready

My Treatment Focus

Trauma work is complicated. It has levels: defining the trauma, identifying patterns and triggers that elicit similar distress, learning coping skills to manage reactions, rebuilding the self, and creating supports to preserve recovery. Art therapy provides communication without words. DBT and mindfulness CBT provide the skills. Together we create recovery.

Everyone experiences anxiety, depression, and loss at sometime in their life. Often events and people happen in our lives that cause distress. No one deserves to be in pain and no one should have to endure when there is the possibility to reduce the pain. My goal is to help my clients find relief through self exploration and a desire to want to feel better. My job is to walk with my clients in their path to mindfulness. My goal is to provide a safe space for emotions to be expressed and validated without judgment. Together we will identify patterns and triggers, and create skills to reduce future emotional distress.
